Wiseview is a useful app for Hanwha Techwin’s security products, which are also known as Wisenet cameras.
This article is for you if you just bought the Wisenet cameras and not sure how it works with the dedicated apps.
Roll down to know how to install Wiseview for PC!
How to Set up Wiseview
First and foremost, you need to properly set up all the cameras and connect them with a power source first.
Afterward, head over to the app store and download the app Wiseview onto your phone. Click on the Wiseview icon after it has been installed to access the app.
The app will ask you to scan the barcode of the cameras to access them. The barcode will be on the box of the products. Hover your camera over to scan the barcode on the box, just like you are taking a photo of it. Be sure to let the camera cover the entire barcode within the frame. Not too far away and not too close, either.
The app will then be able to access your cameras and ask you to set up a password for it. By the way, the password has to be numbers, letters, and characters. So, putting anything else, such as symbols, commas, or dots, would not work.
Once you are done setting up the app, you should now be able to see the camera feeds. The app itself is quite user-friendly. Most of the functions are things that you would typically expect from a surveillance app.
There is a playback button to review all the footage the cameras have recorded, a plus icon to zoom in or out, night vision, snapshot to take a photo, and some more.
